biography
Sidd is a Research Scientist at Intel Research Pittsburgh and adjunct faculty at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. He works on the Physicality Initiative and on the Dynamic Physical Rendering project. His research focusses on building tools that can help robots interact robustly and compliantly with the environment. His research interests include robotic manipulation, computer graphics and animation, intelligent prostheses, multi-agent planning and distributed control. Before joining Intel, Sidd completed his PhD at the Robotics Institite at Carnegie Mellon University where he developed robust controllers for dynamic manipulation.
